I don't get to blog much anymore, but I think last night deserves to have one.

My childhood days were spent listening to the radio and pretending to be in a band. I remember daydreaming about what it would be like to play with my friends in front of a crowd and just letting the music consume me. I imagined that I would feel exhilarated, nervous, confident, self-conscious, and whatever pre-gig emotion you can think of.

Who would have thought I'd actually get to experience this?

Last night was a dream come true. Seeing my friends and family, knowing that they were there for us, hearing their cheers and feeling all their support was absolutely amazing. Never mind the rain, never mind the traffic, never mind the panic, never mind the worry that the bar would collapse with all the people in it, never mind the two years we waited for this to happen. It was all worth it.

And it's all in this 7-track CD.

So to everyone who was at KAZE's "No Reason" EP launch last night, THANK YOU SO MUCH! This was a beginning and an end of sorts for the band, and I am so glad that you got to share this with us. Aylabyoo ol!

Oh, and to those who have pics and vids, pahingi! Wheee!

Yes, folks! After 2 years, we will be launching our EP album "No Reason" on AUGUST 1, 2009 at GENRE BAR, CUBAO EXPO.

Production starts today...FINALLY!

First of all, I'd like to apologize to all our "fans" out there (if there are any...hehe) who are asking, like: "where the hell are they? what happened to them?" or " when does their album go out? it's been 2 years already!" or something to that effect.

Well, our vocalist just got back last December from a 3-month business trip in New York. So that explains the months of hiatus.

As for the EP, we're really trying very hard to push through with the EP release, but certain circumstances prevents us from doing so (e.g., vocalist goes to NY, time constraints with our day jobs, lazyness, financial funding, etc.). All 6 songs are already done (maybe with minor revisions, if I have the time). The inlay design is already done...we're just waiting for some details regarding price in mass printing. After we have finalized the inlay and all the print stuff, it's off for duplication. It will now be a matter of "financial availability". (So, if there are anyone out there who would like to make a donation, please email faye...hehe).

Anyway, as a treat to everyone, I've uploaded the final version of "Rain" in our "Musika" section or listen directly at our amp account, so we can at least ease your anxiety in waiting. (Did I say that right?) We will also have a gig on Valentine's Day (Feb 14) at Route 196, Katipunan w/ Mozzie. (Yey! Mozzie's back!)

We WILL push through this year, we promise. Right guys? *looks at kaze*

Some of you may be wondering why we've been MIA lately. The reason is simple - we all have been juggling our day jobs and the 6-track EP we plan to launch by the end of the year. Also, our vocalist is out of the country on job-related stuff so we can't really do any gigs until she comes back (with lots of presents *wink wink*).

But we're still here, and as soon as everything's set, we are going to end the year with a blast.

After a month of gig inactivity because work, school, and out-of-towns here and there, here are the band's gig skeds for this week:

TONIGHT, we will be playing at Club Dredd, 2nd floor Gweilos, Eastwood City, Libis. We were invited by Gab of Parokya ni Edgar! Now we don't know if Parokya ni Edgar is actually going to play also tonight, but if you wanna know, come to Club Dredd later! (Though, I have this gut-feeling that they ARE going to play...hehe). We're also celebrating Helen's birthday today!
