Well, hello there, website. Long time no see.

And now for some updates!

1. Chevy was sent to China, and then to Germany, and then back to China. Well traveled ang lolo niyo!

2. Bri flew back to Canada for a family emergency. Not sure when she's coming back. We're all hoping for the best!

3. I finished a song recently, but I'm starting to dislike it. LOL.

4. The band celebrated it's 6th year last October 24.

I miss playing. We were supposed to play last Saturday but that didn't push through. Oh well. I hope we get to play when Chevy comes back from China next week.

Yep. Our EP, "No Reason" turns ONE today! And as a way of saying thanks to our fans (naaaks!) for all their support, our album will be available for download FREE for the entire month of August!

Howdy, par'ners! How y'all doin'?

And because cowboy doesn't suit me, I'm gonna go ahead and drop the accent.

It's been quite a while since anybody made updates around here, so I decided to make one since I have to do something to take my mind off my nose (bad case of colds here). It's so stuffed, you can put it in an oven and serve it for Thanksgiving. But you don't want to read about my nasal passages, now do you?

Where to begin?

BRI'S HOME! Yey! She arrived May 19 from Canada and she's been itching to play.

Chevy went to China, then back home, then back to China again. He'll be home by mid-August I think. Until then, our good friend Jon is going to play for us.

The band and another good friend Chiqui went to Boracay last June to witness the wedding of more good friends, Coy and Izel. Shoutouts to the couple! Happy first monthsary!

Faye's been into a lot of physical activities lately, like running and ultimate frisbee. She is so hooked on the latter, she actually dreamt of a flying frisbee. I'll tell you if she starts eating, drinking, and breathing frisbees on my next update.

I'm going to graduate school. Yes, after saying that I don't plan on getting my master's degree anytime soon, I am now taking up IT Education in Lyceum of the Philippines University in Batangas. The story of my sudden change of heart is a long one, but to cut it short, it was an opportunity I just couldn't pass up. I'm done with two subjects, and I have 10 more to go. Wish me luck.

That's pretty much it. We've all been busy with our day jobs and writing and recording drafts of new songs. Hopefully we get to play the new songs on our next gig. I should stop now. The nose is demanding my attention.

With Bri's most awaited return and my inevitable business trip to China, we decided to start rehearsing our new compositions.

It's been more than a month and no band activities; and for the next month, another hiatus, because I'll out-of-the-country for 4 weeks. 4 WEEKS. I won't be able to fetch Bri, won't be able to join the band in Mindoro, and won't be able to attend sessiOnroad's 12th anniversary gig @_@.

We wanted to do something before I go; so, last Tuesday, we hit the studio to practice our new songs! It was the first time we played them actually. The songs weren't conceived through jamming sessions and such. Honestly, the rehearsal was a bit of a mess...but it was fun! Too bad Faye wasn't able to enjoy really because she had a bad case of the sniffles and slept most of the practice.

We instantly found 1 or maybe 2 songs that we can already start playing on our next live event. We just need to figure out the programs to use on our keyboards. We don't have a real synthesizer yet, like Izel's new microKorg; but Miwa sure wanted to buy one...hehe.

Since we already covered "Papa Don't Preach" (and liked it) and our fondness with the Madonna episode of Glee, we also added 2 new Madonna cover songs! (did not actually rehearsed it, but just jammed it). Well, I won't say what it is yet. You have to see us perform live in order for you to find out

I can't wait for you guys to hear it all. I hope we could play REAL SOON. (I need to come back REAL SOON too).

...I might as well update you on some things...hehe.

I guess most of us are pretty busy with our day jobs as of late...even me. I've been going to Laguna twice, even thrice, per week now. And because of that, we haven't been recording for a while. Also, my creative mojo is not flowing though right now so...hahaha! Lots of gigs this past 2 months though (Yey!)

I just opened the last box of our EP. It's our last 100 copies. We're not planning on reproducing more (I think...but if the need arises, I guess), rather we would be concentrating on producing our new songs. I do hope we could practice them soon. (Bri! Uwi na!)

By the way, Bri is coming home in a month! (Yey!) Can't wait to see her...and if she got pregnant or something (little inside joke...hehe)

7 Shots EP Version is now on the AMP charts, yay!

Miwa and I finished 2 more new songs and I have another one lined up but no words to it yet.

We're still recording demos, Faye's new song is on queue. First time I heard it, I instantly loved it so I'm pretty excited to hear the demo version.

I'm really happy with this new creative direction, it's a huge step out of the box for us. I say this in almost all my updates but I really am excited to play these songs and I just can't wait to go back home!
